Starting next month, your popular video and pictures sharing site instagram will begin to offer users translated versions of posts and biographies so that the barrier of understanding the language of other users won't be a barrier anymore.
Facebook has already gotten this update. Remember in recent times any post that is not written in your language on Facebook is usually having a See translation button close to it to enable you understand the message it conveys, i'm thinking that of Instagram will be very similar to that as well.
However, Instagram is yet to release the full list of languages that will be available for translation.
The announcement of this update is actually coming in at a time Instagram is celebrating her 500 million active subscribers globally and you will recall that the company acknowledged the fact that like 80% of its users are outside the United States.
This update will definitely go a long way in fostering better connection among Instagram users just like we can see among Facebook and Twitter users.
