You don't need an internet enabled phone or gadget to transfer money from your Gtbank account to other banks anymore, with the newly launched Gtbank short-codes, customers are now allowed to transfer money from their account with Gtbank into any Gtbank or other bank accounts in Nigeria.
Code for transferring money to Gtbank accounts
To transfer money to Gtbank account, dial *737*1*Amount*NUBAN Account Number#.
For example *737*1*5000*0011223344#
Code for transferring money to other Banks
To transfer money from your Gtbank account to other banks, dial *737*2*Amount*NUBAN Account Number#.
For example *737*5000*2*2000000001#
NB: You can only perform this transaction via the mobile line that is registered with your Gtbank account. (The line that receives the alert) and
You will need the last 4 digits of your Gtbank Naira mastercard to complete each transaction.
