You can now upgrade Infinix Hot Note X551 to 5.1 Lollipop OS without the use of a computer, thanks to the release of the official flashing tool by Infinix. Hot Note users that do not want to use sp flash tool can use this method to switch

Upgrade Infinix Hot Note to Android OS 5.0 Lollipop
Before you commence, please note that Infinix has not made this Lollipop Stock ROM to receive OTA Update, therefore future updates will need to be flashed into your system just like you are about to do this flash this ROM into your Infinix Hot Note.
If you are satisfied with the above downside, follow the steps below to continue the upgrade.
- Download the Lollipop Stock ROM.
- Save the downloaded file in the root directory of your SDCard.
- Press and hold the Power and Volume down button to boot into Recovery mode.
- While in recovery mode, Select update from SD Card, select the downloaded file and choose Yes
After Successful installation, Select re-boot and after that, it is bye bye to KitKat and Welcome to Lollipop
