How to Undo sent messages in Gmail

You may mistakenly hit the send button while composing an Email and wish you could just undo the action, It used to be impossible until Gmail introduced the "Undo Send" feature. You might have heard of this feature in the past or wondering if it's possible or not, all the same, this post will guide
you on how to enable the "undo sent messages" feature in Gmail.

How to enable the Undo send feature in Gmail

  • Click the "Gear icon" towards the top right corner of your Gmail inbox and select "Settings".
  • Click Labs, scroll down the column to locate "Undo send" and click the radio button to enable undo send in your Gmail. See screenshot below

  • Click Save after completing the steps above. Next time you send a message on your Gmail, you will have the opportunity to undo sent messages as seen in the screenshot below.

Now you don't have to worry about clicking the Send button by mistake on Gmail

  1. QED, Thanks Toby for sharing your knowledge on this. But how long do you think this feature will exist. I noticed it is in the LABS which means it could be removed anytime soon, what's your take on this?
