Wondering how to configure Airtel internet settings on your Android phone? This post will take you through the simple steps involved. You will be able to use your Airtel Internet data in no time.


Configuring Airtel Internet on Android Device

STEP 1: Create New APN 

Hey before you continue with this configuration, have you subscribed to any Airtel Data Plan yet? If not, go to my previous post ----) Airtel Data Plans & Subscription Codes for the list of codes and internet plans that may suite your needs.




How To Configure Airtel Internet Settings On Your Android Device


1. To create new APN, follow these steps carefully, Go to settings >>>Wireless and Networks >>> Mobile Networks.
2. Select Mobile Networks followed by GSM/UTMS OPTIONS
3. Select Access Point Names then click the MENU icon to select New APN at the bottom of the screen.

STEP 2: Enter the following details

Name: Airtel Internet
APN:  internet.ng.airtel.com
Username:  internet
Password:   internet
Security: PAP or CHAP

STEP 3: Save the set up

Save the set up before you leave by clicking the MENU option and selecting SAVE. then you can now leave the set up screen.

  2. Thank you for the amazing work you are doing. Pls i activated the bb 10 3k monthly plan on my Q10 but the response ive been getting is ' no internet connection '. When i activated it i got the response that it was active and that i should remove my battery then replace which i did but i cant use the internet, i cant use bbm, whatsapp, browse and any other internet related app. Pls help

    1. I guess you have been using that same AIRTEL SIM on your Modem or non-blackberry device (happened to me before). If yes,here's what i did; restart the phone with the airtel sim inside then call airtel customer care if the problem persists.
