How To Receive Your Facebook Notification on Your Mobile Free

Here's how you can sharply connect your Facebook account to your mobile network within few minutes and you will start getting your Facebook messages and notifications directly on your mobile phone. In addition to this, Facebook connection also allows you to reply to your Facebook messages, poke back, accept/ ignore friend request, update your status and above all, you are given the full
control on how frequent you want to be getting this Facebook Alerts( Good for people that always wake up to see 300 Friend requests, 200 messages and 500 pokes .... LOL :)

      Therefore, this tutorial will take you through the setup process and how to control the inflow of the Facebook alert.messages after setup

HOW TO SETUP

1. Login to your Facebook account on your desktop or mobile

2. Goto SETTINGS

3. Goto TEXT MESSAGING

4. All the registered phone numbers on your Facebook profile would be displayed. Goto ACTIVATE PHONE

5. Choose your Country => Choose your Mobile Network ( You may not close this page now if you are on a desktop or Symbian Phone)

6. Text "fb" to the short code  as instructed. For example; Airtel customers will text "fb"  (without quotes ) to 40405.

7. You will receive  a message which contains a code and a confirmation link. You can click on the link to activate your phone through your phone's browser or Fill in the code into the page you were yet to close after clicking ENTER CODE

HOW TO CONTROL THE AMOUNT OF FACEBOOK MESSAGES YOU RECEIVE

1. Login to your Facebook account

2. Click on SETTINGS  => Text Messaging

3. Click on edit notifications

4. Mark or Unmark the boxes as you wish
